Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

BY SIGNING UP WITH THE ANSWERONVIDEO AFFILIATE PROGRAM ("Program"), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("Agreement"). YOU HEREBY AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL THE CLAUSES OF THIS AGREEMENT. This is a legal agreement between you and AnswerOnVideo. By clicking "Sign up" during registration, you represent that you are over 18 years old and agree to these terms.

1. Terms and Conditions of the Account

You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any additional information requested in order to complete the signup process.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. AnswerOnVideo cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
Each legal entity may control no more than one Program account unless expressly authorized.
You may not use the Program for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
You may not use the Program to gain a discount on AnswerOnVideo products for your own use. All sales must be to entities on an arm's length basis only.

7. Paid Ads Policy

You may not:

Use your affiliate link in any paid media, including search engine ads, Facebook or Instagram ads, or anything similar.
Bid on keywords such as "answeronvideo.com", "AnswerOnVideo coupons", "AnswerOnVideo discounts", or similar alterations in pay-per-click campaigns.
Use typosquatting or redirect traffic from misspelled domains.
Use "doorway pages" as part of AnswerOnVideo promotional activities.
Transmit interstitials, Parasiteware, Shopping Assistance Applications, Toolbar Installations, deceptive pop-ups or pop-unders.

You may:

Review AnswerOnVideo on your blog and YouTube channel, add banners, and share your link with your clients and social media followers, provided you comply with the terms of any third-party sites used.

Abuse or policy violations will result in account termination and forfeiture of commissions. Contact hello@answeronvideo.com with any questions.

8. Compliance with Laws

As a condition of your participation, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, including laws governing marketing email such as the CAN-SPAM Act and applicable anti-spam regulations.

9. Commissions and Payment

Commission becomes due where a customer signs up using your unique affiliate link on a bona fide basis and does not cancel within 30 days of purchase. Commissions are only payable on subscription revenue.

Affiliate commissions are approved in the month after the sale. Commissions are due 30 days after they are generated. In case of a refund, the commission will not be payable. Self-referrals will not count as qualified referrals and will not be eligible for Commission.

We reserve the right to withhold payments to any suspicious Affiliate and require KYC details to ensure traffic and methods are safe for the AnswerOnVideo brand.

10. Affiliate Responsibilities

Approved Affiliates are solely responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of their site, including:

Technical operation and all related equipment
Accuracy, truth, and appropriateness of materials posted
Ensuring materials do not infringe upon third-party rights
Ensuring materials are not libelous or otherwise illegal
Adequate disclosure of data collection and cookie practices

11. Termination

Your Affiliate status may be suspended or terminated for: inappropriate advertisements, spamming, advertising illegal activities, violation of AnswerOnVideo intellectual property rights, manipulating customers, repetitive self-referrals, fraudulent transactions, or other violations at AnswerOnVideo's sole discretion.

13. Identifying Yourself as an AnswerOnVideo Affiliate

You may post or advertise your participation in the Program, but you may not misrepresent or embellish the relationship between you and AnswerOnVideo, including implying you are part of AnswerOnVideo or develop its services.

17. Relationship of Parties

You are an independent contractor. Nothing in this Agreement creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and AnswerOnVideo.

18. Liability

AnswerOnVideo will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of revenue, profits, or data arising in connection with this Agreement. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 6-month period prior to any claim.

19. Term of the Agreement

This Agreement is effective immediately upon acceptance into the Program and ends when your Affiliate account is terminated. AnswerOnVideo may modify this Agreement at any time. Continuing participation constitutes acceptance of any change.
